Hi, I’m Jay, in my mid-20’s and have a real passion for both health and food! I am a real advocate for finding a lifestyle that’s fits to an individual’s needs. I believe that you are the best person to decide what makes you feel the best and that it can take a lot of experimenting to reach that point.

I have started this blog to start connecting with like-minded people and also to share my journey with others with the hope of inspiring at least a couple of people. The two biggest events that have shaped my life and driven my interest in health include been diagnosed with scoliosis (curvature of the spine) at age 11 and my dad been diagnosed with multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer) when I was 14. My own journey with scoliosis includes dealing with body issues, major surgery and recovering from major surgery while seeing what my dad went through gave me a whole new perspective on how to live your life. 10 years on from spinal fusion surgery I am healthier and fitter than I have ever been. Good food and fitness have been fundamental to this and I hope to provide tools through this blog to prove that once you have the motivation you are already 90% of the way there.
